Huge Thank You to our friends in Montreal for saving the Cup this year!
It was, in fact, on the verge of cancellation due to student strike.
But we all made a History here: that was the largest women participation ever in AIDA Canada freediving competitions! And there was quite a spectacle to follow: the point spread between 1-st and 3-rd place in women overalls is only 1.4 with 0.3 points between 1-st and 2-nd place! This is where every single second and centimeter counted!
Freedive Toronto was represented by 7 people. All of them made new Personal Bests in various disciplines, even in DYN despite an odd pool length of 25.16 m!
Congratulations to all athletes and hope we will draw even more interest and we can break record of overall attendance next time!
